- Buttermilk Pie:

- 1/2C Margarine
- 2C Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 3Tbs Flour
- 1C Buttermilk
- Dash of nutmeg or 1/2tsp of vanilla or lemon flavoring.
- 1 Unbaked pie shell

- Cream together margarine and sugar. Mix in eggs and flour and beat until
- fluffy. Fold in buttermilk and nutmeg. For a slightly different taste,
- you can eliminate nutmeg and add vanila or lemon flavoring. Pour mixture
- in pie shell and bake 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees.

- Now, I used vanilla and a Graham Cracker crust. It could have done
- without the graham cracker crust. It was VERY sweet. Kids liked it
- though. And it only took 30 minutes to bake. Check it often while cooking
- for doneness.
